   In 2003, dupa patru ani de gimnastica ritmica, a decis sa-si incerce sansele in alt sport de performanta, atletismul, iar ultimii ani dovedesc ca a facut o alegere buna prin numerosele performante obtinute. Asadar, pe plan intern, cele mai recente si cele mai importante performante sunt cele din 2011 cand a castigat titlurile de campiona nationala de sala si aer liber la junioare in proba de 3000m cu timpul de 9:46.17 respectiv 9:56.72. Tot in 2011 a reusit sa devina dubla campiona nationala la juniori si la tineret in proba de 5000m, impunandu-se cu rezultatele de 17:34.89 and 16:36.82. In 2009 a castigat titlul de campioana nationala la cros in proba junioarelor.

   Pe plan international a reprezentat Romania la numeroase intreceri precum campionate balcanice, campionate europene dar si campionate mondiale. Cele mai bune performnate le-a obtinut la jocurile olimpice ale tineretul desfasurate in 2010 la Singapore. Aici a obtinul locul 5 la 3000m cu rezultatul si record personal de 9:38.64. Si locul 6 in 16:44.38 in 2011 la campionatele europene de juniori desfasurate la Tallinn/Estonia.

   In prezent este legitimata la clubul CAM Sighisoara si este antrenata de profesorul Ion Avram. Este nascuta in Sighisoara la 3 Februarie 1993. Ca hobiuri are sportul, muzica si plimbarile in locuri interesante si frumoase.


 
   She decided to become a professional runner in 2003 after spending four years as a rhythmic gymnast. Since becoming a professional runner, she has had great success in outdoor, indoor, road and cross country races. She is becoming one of the most promising female distance runners in Romania.

   Florea has won her age group in all the important races. Her most recent and best performances have come in 2011 when she won the romanian national junior indoor and outdoor 3000m championships, 9:46.17 and 9:56.72 respectively. In 2011 she also won the junior and U23 national championship titles in the 5000m, 17:34.89 and 16:36.82 respectively. In 2009, she also won the national junior cross country championships.

   Internationally she has competed for Romania in the balkan championships, european and world championships. She was 5th in the 3000m in 9:38.64 at the Youth Olympics hosted by Singapore in 2010, and 6th in the 5000m in 16:44.38 at the 2011 European Junior Championship hosted by Tallinn/Estonia.

   Currently Florea runs for CAM Sighisoara Club and she is coached by Ion Avram.  She is born on February 3rd 1993 in Sighisoara. Her hobbies are sports, music and visiting beautiful and interesting places.
